Reporter: Yunbin He is a doctor and doctoral tutor in German natural sciences, a distinguished professor of the Chutian Scholars Program in Hubei Province, and one of the first batch of special experts of the Hundred Talents Program. And he is currently the deputy dean of the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Hubei University. He successively entered the New Century Excellent Talents Program of the Ministry of Education, the first level of the New Century High-level Talent Project of Hubei Province and the Wuhan Academic Leadership Program, and won the Hubei Provincial Natural Science Outstanding Youth Fund and the 9th Hubei Youth Science and Technology Award. In addition, from 1994 to 1997, he obtained his bachelor's and master's degrees from Hubei University. In 2003, he received his doctorate in natural sciences from the Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen in Germany. And he has worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the first Physics Institute of Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen, the Institute of Physical Chemistry, the Institute of Metal Research of the International Max Planck Research School, and the University of Tulane, USA. Besides, he has presided over more than 20 scientific research projects, including 4 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. To date, he has published more than 140 SCI papers in important domestic and international academic journals such as Nature Mater., Nat. Commun and Phys. Rev. Lett., and all of them have been cited more than 2,000 times by SCI papers. Moreover, his research interests include semiconductor optoelectronic thin films and devices, piezoelectric ceramics and ferroelectric thin films, controllable preparation and application of nanomaterials, oxide surface physics and chemistry, etc.
