The Engineering Research Center of Metallurgical Automation and Testing Technology of Wuhan University of Science and Technology is one of the engineering research centers of Ministry of Education officially approved by the Ministry of Education in April 2006. It is also the only research center in the field of metallurgical and electrical engineering of universities in China. This center has concentrated the backbone technical personnel of wuhan University of Science and Technology and the co-construction unit and wuhan Steel Technology Center engaged in the field of metallurgy automation and testing technology for a long time. The R&D team is composed of fixed personnel and mobile personnel. The permanent personnel are mainly academic leaders and backbone technical personnel. In the four specialized fields of engineering and technology, there are more than 60 scientific and technological personnel, including more than 20 professors and professor-level senior engineers. 70% of them have master's degree, doctor's degree and returned overseas students.
